Premier Home & Building Inspections is proudly owned and operated by InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector, Robert Ritchotte. As someone who spent his life being naturally and exceptionally handy around the house, Robert became interested in the home inspection industry. He has spent time working in the real estate business and knows fully just how important the home inspection process is for buyers and sellers alike.
A professional and thorough inspection can be the difference between someone ending up in the home of their dreams or getting stuck with a money pit.
Outside of his career, Robert enjoys spending time with his family, working on his two Volkswagen Beetles, and coaching his daughter’s lacrosse and basketball teams.
Robert’s Credentials
Robert holds his Connecticut License for home inspection, HOI.0000951. As a Connecticut license holder, he is also able to perform home and building inspections in the state of Rhode Island. Robert is also licensed in Massachuttes, #1044.
He is a member of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and maintains his education through them with the industry’s most reputable training resources. Additionally, Robert is an InterNACHI CPI (Certified Professional Inspector).
Experience and Background
Robert is an extremely detail-oriented individual. For six years, he served in the military doing tedious and important work on helicopters. This experience gave him a keen eye for detail and taught him what an important responsibility he has doing work that helps others. After leaving the military, he worked for 18 years in the motorcycle industry and even owned his own shop, helping him develop his interpersonal skills.
He credits this part of his career with showing him the importance of building strong and lasting relationships with his clients built on trust. Robert ventured into the real estate industry after leaving his motorcycle shop. As a real estate agent, he learned about the home and building industry from an entirely new perspective that he can now share with his clients.
